Mysterious and enigmatic places in the Polish mountains. Discover the Sudetes and the Carpathian Mountains from a different perspective.

The mountains are not only beautiful views, stunning panoramas and mountain huts with good food. They are also places associated with legends, stories, but also tragic accidents and even murders. Werewolves, witches, devils, plane crashes, murders - it is enough to delve a little deeper into the Polish Carpathians and Sudetes to get to know their slightly different side, more dark and mysterious.

Everest Base Camp or Annapurna Base Camp? Which trek is better for a first time in the Himalayas?

We associate the Himalayas with snow-capped eight-thousand metre peaks, glaciers, low temperatures and great danger. Parts of the range (or at least from a certain altitude) are like that, but the Himalayas also offer wonderful and colourful treks that are accessible to most mountain hikers. Of these, the two most popular are the trek to Everest base camp and Annapurna base camp. How do they differ? Which one is more difficult? What qualities does each have? This is what you will find out at the lecture.

A Balkan fairy tale

The Balkans... there is much to talk and write about the countries located there. What do we associate them with? With beautiful mountain panoramas and wonderful nature, with wildness, with hot weather, with holidays. The Balkans is a fascinating mountainous area, bathed in the waters of warm seas, home to beautiful historic cities dating back to ancient Greece and Rome, through which atmospheric rivers weave their way. The Balkans, it is simply a fairy tale...and so will be Luke's mountain tale of traversing the incredible trails in the rocky terrain of the Dinaric Mountains.

The west coast of the United States - how to plan a trip and what to see locally?

Tomasz Habdas - traveler, mountain guide, tourism promoter. A native of Zywiec, he spent his childhood in the Beskids. He has climbed numerous peaks in Poland. He hiked the Main Beskid Trail alone. He has also climbed Mont Blanc, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Aconcague and many others. His goal is to conquer the Crown of the Earth.

"My life goal, passion to put it laconically is "the road", and being more precise traveling, where the named road itself is often the goal. Our form of exploring the world is car + tent with wilderness accommodations. I have had the pleasure of visiting 49 countries, almost all on the European continent plus a bit of Asia and Africa."

Cinnamon Tours - which is a Polish-Sri Lankan combination of travel enthusiasts and positive experiences. They have been organizing tours to Sri Lanka and the Maldives for more than 4 years, showing their unconventional faces and magic in all their glory.

A lover of non-obvious destinations, a great advocate of all kinds of trips - both large expeditions to the other side of the world and wandering through local nooks and crannies. By profession a marketer, by passion a traveler and creator of the online "GdzieśTyBył" (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook). Recently he has visited Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritania, Senegal, among others.

The Balkans is a fascinating mountainous area, awash with the waters of warm seas, where there are beautiful historic cities dating back to ancient Greece and Rome, through which atmospheric rivers weave briskly. The Balkans, it's simply a fairy tale...and such will be Luke's mountain tale of traversing the incredible trails in the rocky terrain of the Dinaric Mountains.

In the beginning, a glass screen became the window to the world. Yet, a passion for exploring the world sprouted in me until it grew to such proportions that I couldn't sit still. I lived and traveled in China, where I come back often. However, I feel most comfortable in Equatorial Africa among simple people and wildlife: among the Pygmies of the Batwa tribe in Uganda, the Masai in Kenya, the Bedouins in the Sudanese desert, on a desert expedition in the hottest place in the world, the Danakil Basin in Ethiopia, on a dramatically dangerous rafting trip on the White Nile, with chimpanzees on Ngamba Island in Uganda or mountain gorillas in Wirunga Park in its Congolese part. In my works I have dealt with North Korea, which I have visited more than once. I am not afraid of challenges and breaking my limits of endurance, which I proved during the realization of the POLSAT TV program "Island of Survival" (Polish format of the American "Survivor"/ French "Kho Lanta"). Africa is no doubt my greatest traveling love, so I decided to create the ZEBRA brand, which will bring local handicrafts and African design closer.

Gosia Girek - author of the travel blog Voyagerka, which was awarded a prize by the Polish Tourist Organization. Owner of the travel agency TukTukTours, she is professionally connected with Pakistan, where she organizes tours for Polish tourists. A pharmacist by profession, but for years her great passion has been traveling - she spent her childhood in Japan, and during her studies she lived in Portugal, Serbia and Italy. She loves discovering places off the beaten track and feels best on the road.

A volcano of energy! An engineer by education, a manager by profession, an English teacher by chance, a traveler at heart, and a diving instructor by passion. A fan of outdoor sports and a diving enthusiast. She'll eat a scorpion, but not a cooked carrot. Lived and worked in the Maldives for 2 years and knows the country from a non-touristy perspective. The author of the book “Podróże na własnej skórze” ("Travels on My Own Skin"), in which she presents the various aspects of 10 years of traveling to over 50 countries and living in 10 of them.

We were traveling long before kids came along. When Edi came into the world (now 11 years old) and Bruno (now 5 years old), we formed a rather perverse opinion about traveling with children. We believe that you travel more intensely and better with children than alone or in a couple. And we're talking about the style of travel we practice, which is traveling on our own, away from organized tours, away from guides and even without hotel reservations. Why is it easier? There are several reasons. We'll be happy to tell you about them! We go to non-obvious places. We like it when locals are surprised that we arrived. And that still with children. Our children don't get a discount. Traveling for hours in a bush cab, sleeping on a hammock in the jungle or lack of hot water are not things that scare them. How did they manage to learn this? We will tell you just that! In the end, we are pragmatic, not radical. We don't strain for adventure. We rent a car because it's easier to travel that way. After a few nights in the open air, we like to spend a night in a five-star hotel. From each trip, we prepare a professional presentation with photos and a video that is will take your breath away. We are also proud authors of travel articles published in national travel portals. We invite you to visit the spectacular corners of the world with us.

When we started traveling, Jula and Zuza were still very young, but they bravely endured all the hardships of travel. Over time, this way of exploring the world also "hooked" them, and I don't think we could find ourselves on an all-inclusive vacation anymore. Trips used to be with a tent, and for the past few years, with a trailer – a real adventure, which is what we love most. For us, the journey itself matters more than the destination. We don't like to be restricted; we value our freedom. We do what we want, how we want, and when we want. While traveling, we like to keep moving; everything piques our curiosity. There are still so many new places, interesting people ahead of us, and I think that's why we can't sit still :)

We are twin brothers, and we have always been fascinated by travel. What began as small trips has evolved into larger ones. We have already completed several extensive bicycle journeys across Europe. Our trip to the USA is by far the most significant one so far, but certainly not the last

He sold his house, gave up everything, and traveled much farther than the Bieszczady Mountains, following pre-made camper routes that he freely shares on wyprawomaniak.pl
